This Privacy Policy describes how Media Bird LLC, doing business as Ozarks Leather (“Ozarks Leather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit ozarksleather.com (the “Site”), make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Order information: your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone number, and details of the products you purchase.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We receive confirmation of payment together with limited card details, such as the card brand and the last four digits.
- Account information: if you create an account, your login credentials, saved addresses, and order history.
- Communications: information you submit through our contact form, by email, or in connection with a custom or bulk order request, including any artwork or files you provide.
Information collected automatically. When you access the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and your use of the Site, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, the dates and times of your visits, and other usage data. This information is collected through server logs, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, as described in Section 3.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our payment processor (such as fraud-screening results), from analytics and advertising partners (such as whether a visit originated from an advertisement), and from shipping carriers.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and other transactional communications;
- To create and administer your account and to authenticate you when you log in;
- To respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, prepare quotations for custom or bulk orders, and process returns, exchanges, and refunds;
- To calculate, collect, and remit sales tax, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other unlawful activity, and to protect the security of the Services;
- To analyze how the Services are used, to maintain and improve the Site, and to develop new products and features;
- To deliver advertising for our products, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and to present offers that may be of interest to you, as described in Section 4; and
- With your consent, to send you marketing communications about our products, from which you may unsubscribe at any time.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. These include:
- Strictly necessary cookies that enable core functionality such as your shopping cart, checkout, and account login. The Site cannot function properly without them.
- Security and fraud-prevention cookies set by our payment processor on checkout pages.
- Analytics cookies that collect information about how visitors use the Site, such as the pages visited and the source of the visit.
- Advertising cookies that are used to deliver advertisements relevant to you and to measure the performance of advertising campaigns.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from completing a purchase. Because there is no industry standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them; however, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising where required by applicable law.
4. Analytics and Advertising
We use, or may in the future use, third-party analytics and advertising services provided by Google LLC, including:
- Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Site and to report on activities and trends. Google Analytics may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps, and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Google Ads conversion tracking, which allows us to determine when a visit resulting from one of our advertisements leads to a purchase or other action on the Site. In connection with this service, Google may receive information about the transaction, including the order value, and, where you have provided it, a hashed (encrypted) version of your email address or other contact information for the purpose of matching conversions to advertisements.
- Google Ads remarketing, which uses cookies and advertising identifiers to display our advertisements to prior visitors of the Site on Google services and on other websites within the Google Display Network.
You may opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting adssettings.google.com, and you may learn more about interest-based advertising and opt-out choices generally at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Opting out does not mean you will no longer see advertising; it means that the advertising you see will not be tailored to your interests.
